Unlike traditional celebrations lasting one to two days, Indian weddings extend over three to seven days, involving multiple sectors such as Hotels, Catering, Decoration, and Entertainment.

The castle wedding segment is anticipated to propel at 13.6% CAGR during the projection period in the destination wedding market. Beach wedding is an emerging segment in the market.

Popular traditional wedding sites such as Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Udaipur, along with popular tourism destinations such as Mussoorie, the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, are on the cutting edge of international wedding possibilities.

A survey by Betterhalf highlighted that 72% of urban professionals considered it significant when planning a destination wedding. As a result, the secret ingredient to having the most surreal yet economical destination wedding that perfectly aligns with your budget is to engage the services of online wedding planning platforms, as preferred by 38% of couples, in contrast to traditional planners.

As per WeddingWire India comprehensive survey where 25,000 respondents from 15 countries gave a voice on evolving trends in the Indian wedding industry. Following in the footsteps of the US and the UK, approximately 57 percent of Indians now choose to share their engagement and wedding announcements via the ubiquitous messaging platform, WhatsApp. This digital shift underscores the growing reliance on technology for seamless communication and the convenience it offers in reaching a wider network of friends and family.
