How to design / define culture?

Any organization who would like to map their culture should begin the journey with “deepest observation” of them (as a person) and in line with Organization decorum overall. Organizational culture represents a set of behaviors, values, and rituals that define how members of an organization do things. It also decides as an organization what you will reward and what will be punished because culture is human centric.

Map current culture – including product, people & customers perspective

While mapping current culture Leader/key team have to consider picture in totality of the business that includes products, people, customers….. Here are few questions that may help:

Culture is the mirror of how the work is been conducted inside the organization and it should be understood as a critical element if organization wants a high performance workplace. It is not necessary that organization as a whole contains specific culture it can be many subcultures also so at both levels culture needs to be understood. A company’s prevailing values, attitudes, beliefs, artifacts, and behaviors all comprise its culture and help to create a sense of order, continuity, and commitment.
