If we look back a year and half, everything has moved upside down starting from people’s health to their emotional well-beings. We have seen major turbulence in the businesses which became an unpredicted tsunami for the economy, as no one was prepared for such uncertain events. Pandemic has showed us the real meaning of Uncertainty in our businesses, lives, health & what not.
It’s becoming really difficult to plan for businesses due to frequent spikes of infections and lockdowns; where one aspect of business is supportive while other pulls you back.
Many organizations do utilize technologies like CRM, ERP and many more but to operate those technologies they need human! (even at their home, not just in plant)
It’s sad and true, that most of us are still using technologies just to store data – but the operations are still manual. The remote working environments topped up with uncertainty of who will be available on duty tomorrow, digital transformation is a must direction for businesses.
Adoption of IoT & Robotics for manufacturing units is the only way to minimize the human contact and blend the same with automation and human efforts. With the use of IoT & Robotics, process owners can access the machines remotely as well as track the progress of it.
This is not enough; world is changing in speed, not in years but in days. It’s impossible for a team of analysts to develop real time understanding of constantly changing economical, social, political and environmental conditions and its impact on the business. This calls for faster adaption of Artificial Intelligence. AI helps in taking decisions based on the past trends and analysis which helps you predict the future trend, It is now a necessity to make data driven decisions which should be real time and on a regular basis.
Our traditional tools can only declare disaster once it has happened! AI is the only tool which can help boost agility towards (not just growth) survival.
We understand, with the increase in digital transformation, many people may lose their jobs but the jobs with new skill set will come into existence which will shape country’s economy in a better way.
